MORE DYNAMIC THAN EVER FOR THE PROPULSION OF AGTECH IN QUEBEC

On the occasion of the new year, the Zone Agtech would like to highlight the remarkable contribution of its members and partners to the construction of the innovative agricultural technology sector in Quebec, which is generating more and more impacts in Quebec and abroad. This major social project would not be possible without your involvement. With the multiple innovative perspectives and the importance that agtech represents all over the world and for generations to come, it is clear that our collaboration is essential in the year to come and beyond. 

In 2022, the Agtech Zone is: 

• $256 million of ongoing investment projects in the Innovation Zone; 
• The largest provincial agtech community gathered in Canada with 200 Quebec members and partners; 
• 130 companies in agtech and plant bioproducts supported in one or other of the 6 incubation and acceleration programs and paths offered; 
• 450 agtech, agricultural, agri-food and plant bioproducts companies reached in one or other of the 6 corporate innovation programs organized or co-organized; 

• Participation in 10 large-scale projects and pan-Quebec research chairs, bringing together a total of 200 collaborators; 
• 3,000 participants from Quebec and abroad reached through one or other of the 50 networking and networking events and activities organized or co-organized by the Agtech Zone. 

2022 promises to be more dynamic than ever with the official autonomy of the Zone Agtech, the materialization of major innovation and investment projects, impactful support programs and the deployment of structuring projects to intensify development and marketing of agtechs from Quebec here and abroad.
