May 23, 2023 | Zone Agtech was pleased to receive the Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, yesterday.
For the occasion, we had a productive discussion on our innovative programs and the companies we support for the adaptation of agricultural production in response to climate change, labour shortage and carbon emission reduction targets.
This meeting also allowed us to give an overview of the targets being deployed by Zone Agtech, such as:
? Canada’s largest vertical crop center,
? the largest rooftop greenhouse center in the world,
? the first 100% agtech innovation complex in Canada,
? the first field trial network dedicated to agtech, and
? Propelling one of the largest agtech communities in Canada.-
All of these achievements have opened up new opportunities for our members and partners.
